You've registered for one or more counseling classes, what are the next steps?
  1. Be sure you have also completed the application  and received the "Welcome" email from the Program Administrator. If not, send an email to check the status of your application. (This can take a couple of days, so plan accordingly.)
  2. Download the appropriate syllabus (find the specific Module link on the Courses Offered Page or the Student Resources Page, find the particular Module, click on the "Syllabus" link,  download the syllabus.
  3. Check the "Required Reading" list for the Module, purchase the necessary books in time for the first class*. (NOTE: Some of the modules have "pre-reading" that will need to be completed PRIOR TO the first class meeting for the module. BE SURE to purchase the books in plenty of time to get the reading done in time for the first class).
  4. If you have any questions, email the Program Administrator and get them answered right away. We want to make sure you have every opportunity to be as successful as possible.

*If you are unable to afford the books you need for the module right now, email the Program Administrator. We may be able to find a former student willing to loan you their copy for the duration of the module. Remember, however, that these books are important reference materials for you to have available in the future, so purchasing your own copies as soon as possible will be important. Used books in acceptable condition are often available at a much reduced price.
