We are all familiar with Paul’s admonition to Timothy: “Do your best to present yourself to God as an approved worker who has nothing to be ashamed of, handling the word of truth with precision.” 2 Timothy 2:2
Not everyone can afford to pack up and go to Bible College or to seminary for their training and education. And, many people cannot devote a great deal of time and energy to an in-depth online course of study, yet they have a deep desire to better understand the Christian faith and be better equipped to minister to others.
Most people don't need the level of training received at seminary to be able to adequately serve God well within the local church or on the mission field. Something in-between would be ideal for them:,that is where Vancouver Bible Institute comes in.
Our Programs and Courses of Study are theologically robust, Biblically sound, and personally challenging. We take seminary-level training and education and make them accessible, understandable, and affordable for every-day people. We are also involved in training and equipping indigenous pastors internationally at no cost to those pastors.
We desire to be an instrument in God's hands to better equip the Church to know what they believe, why they believe it, and be able to present a solid answer to anyone who asks them for the hope that is within them.
