Biblical Exegetics

Course Description
The word context is made up of two terms derived from Latin, con meaning "together" and textus meaning "to weave." Therefore when we speak about context we are talking about that which is woven together.
Every word, phrase, clause, and paragraph has been woven together and the goal of any bible student is to seek to find that thread of thought that runs like a life stream through the smaller and larger parts of every passage and book.
In the Biblical Exegetics Course, one will learn how to read the meaning out of the Scriptural text (exegesis) rather than reading an understanding into the text (eisegesis).
Come and enjoy learning about the different styles and structures used to communicate God's truth.
Come and learn how to discover the weaving together of passages and books to form the beautiful tapestry of truth.
Come and learn how to ascertain by the contents and the transitions from section to section and paragraph to paragraph the overall purpose of any book in the Bible.
